About Dr. Omar Said
MD
Dr. Omar Said is a fellowship-trained, double board-certified Interventional Pain Physician and Anesthesiologist dedicated to delivering patient-centered care with a focus on improving quality of life. After nearly a decade of practicing in Chicago, he founded his own clinic with the goal of creating a more personalized, supportive healthcare experience centered on communication, comfort, and collaboration.
In the context of neuropathy, Dr. Said plays an important role in managing neuropathy-related pain and treatment side effects. His expertise in advanced pain management techniques allows him to develop individualized care plans that help patients maintain function, reduce discomfort, and improve overall well-being throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Dr. Said completed his anesthesia residency at Rush University Medical Center, where he was recognized with multiple honors for clinical excellence, academic achievement, and humanism. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Cleveland Clinic, earning recognition as the most outstanding fellow. He has also been named Physician of the Year by his peers and nursing staff, reflecting his commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
His approach emphasizes honesty, collaboration, and precision — working closely with patients and multidisciplinary care teams to identify the source of pain and develop effective, tailored treatment strategies. Dr. Said understands that while not all pain can be eliminated, the right approach can significantly improve a patient’s quality of life.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Chicago festivals, staying active through sports, and enjoying time outdoors with his dog.
